Yes, Puerto Vallarta has great fishing. Next tine I would go out longer, at least 6 hours so you can get to deeper water. We only has time gor a 4 hour trip this time.

Wear long sleaves and a hat. I get seas sick so i took a gravol the night before and one hour before trip and I had zero issues.

we didnt catch any but it was afternoon. also we were trolling so ut wasnt very active for someone who want the full experience.

It's hot, wear the right clothes, make sure there is ice and lots of water. Expect your bag to be checked before boarding boat.

I have fish freshwater in my entire life, but was new to salt water the crew was excellent in answering all the questions and making the entire experience seamless and execution ended up landing a lifetime size marlin and trophy size mahi!

good action, lots of skipjack jumping which means sailfish and mahi arent far behind! saw whale, dolphins and turtles as well

Do a whole day it's worth the money i wish we had, we were on a budget this trip. Next time we're doing a full day. Tres Estrellas is a great choice for fishing!

Fishing in the bay of Banderas is usually OK. But depending on the weather, it can be hot and cold. We are here in June and we've had some unexpected rain which can really mess with the fishing. The captain that took us out is local to the area and he put us on the fish that he thought we would be able to catch based on the current conditions. He was absolutely correct. If you're going to book a charter and just want to catch fish, ask the captain what he thinks we can catch that day.
