Yes, I would recommend highly that you give them a try. We learned of this crew from a fellow traveler, and are well pleased with our first deep sea fishing trip!

Fishing was ok, but the trip was over the top because of the crew. Got to play with wild dolphins and se a big water spout! Half of one Mai fed my whole family anyways.

Taxi’s to the marina will try to charge high fees for transportation. Make sure to set a price before departure or arrange with charter. Also, make sure to communicate your expectations to the captain before the trip. Make sure there are no hidden fees. You can keep your catch and ask resort chef to prepare a meal for you. Bring sunscreen and take some Dramamine 1hrs before your trip to avoid sea sickness.

If your debating between the 4 hour or 6 hour trip I would fully recommend doing the full 6 hour trip. We caught half of our fish in the last 2 hours of the trip. Gives the crew the best chance to get you on the fish.

Stay in Cozumel and fish there. We stayed south of Playa and it was too much traveling early in the morning for my family with a 3 year old.

I went for bigger fish only so maybe next time go all day. Fish big fish first then finish up bottom fishing. I would still recommend going. Great crew
