I would definitely book Aquadventures anytime you go to Cozumel Although we were told the better fishing is March, April, May. We may actually take a trip there again just to go fishing in the future. This past January trip was an excursion through a Caribbean cruise we took last month.

If it's your first time fishing in Playa del Carmen, my biggest recommendation is to just relax and enjoy the experience. You don't need to be an expert, just trust your guides, soak in the beautiful ocean views, and have fun. Go in with no pressure, be open to learning, and enjoy every moment.

Balihoo Boat
During the winter season Barracuda is definitely the easiest and most abundant fish to catch, they also put up an amazing fight. Ive been told around March is good for Mahi Mahi and Sailfish

Would recommend bringing your own snacks. Consider in advance if you want to mount what you catch, does cost extra but great problem to have! If younger kids, bring something for them to do during downtime btw catching fish :)

Great communication and a great time. The fishing was a little tough but that's fishing sometimes and not indicative of a lack of effort. the crew and the captain worked hard! This is my daughter with her trophy barracuda.

A must-do! The Captain and the first mate were excellent. It was a mother-son excursion, and my son caught a 90" Swordfish! We also caught several sailfish, and the first mate filleted them. Our chef at the resort we were staying at made us a 3-course Meal: ceviche, fish tacos, and grilled.
