Fresh Interlachen Fishing Reports

Had the pleasure of taking my new client Ralph out for a banner late spring early summer bass trip. We lost track of numbers but. had 4 fish over 8lbs and 2 solo man double hook ups for some chaos and laughter. Some days are just ones you'll never forget!

Happy birthday to this young man. Repeat guests and the fish gods delivered. Young Mr. Brice had a 6.6 lb, and an 8.1 and 8.9 as well.

I went out today with with the Kingstons, good folks and friends with the terrible weather coming. Thanks to my friend Capt. Jay Ford for the jump start on my boat as we were the only boats at the ramp. We caught some good ones and lost a monster at the boat.

Had the pleasure of fishing with these old friends today. Great company and good anglers. The fish cooperated and we didn't even move for the trip. I usually move quick but the bite stayed steady. Currently booking April.

I say I have special days so often but, it's true. So many special days. I don't give children's names but this young lady was a natural. A few tips and at 12 she was on her own! Casting, setting hooks and fighting fish to the boat. She now has a PB of 8 pounds and well, smoked dear old Dad this morning. Always refreshing to meet well raised children and great Fathers. She even laughed at me taking the equivalent of a banana slip spill! I told her I would have been disappointed if she didn't.
