Fresh Interlachen Fishing Reports

I say I have special days so often but, it's true. So many special days. I don't give children's names but this young lady was a natural. A few tips and at 12 she was on her own! Casting, setting hooks and fighting fish to the boat. She now has a PB of 8 pounds and well, smoked dear old Dad this morning. Always refreshing to meet well raised children and great Fathers. She even laughed at me taking the equivalent of a banana slip spill! I told her I would have been disappointed if she didn't.

Fished with my new friend Chris from Birmingham pre nasty front and before the Daytona 500. The pics don't show the howling winds that came. No monsters but non stop solid 3-5's. We tucked and ran at 11 before it got real bad.

I had a father and son trip pre Daytona 500 and kicked off their weekend with a personal best 7lb 12 oz fish... we can just say 8 for fun along with about 20 other bass from 2 to 5 pounds. Great weather and fun day.
