We highly recommend fishing with Captain Lucas! ? He knows the area, is incredibly friendly, and was absolutely amazing with our kids. It was our first time fishing in Pompano Beach, and he made the experience so much fun and easy for the whole family. Our boys had such a great time that they were already asking to come back tomorrow! ??

We highly recommend fishing with Captain Lucas! ? He knows the area, is incredibly friendly, and was absolutely amazing with our kids. Florida Man Fishing Charters
Book a charter longer than 3 hours. 3 hours puts a lot of pressure on the captain to produce fast even though he made it happen for us I still wish I booked a longer trip.

Be prepared fishing may be slow in July or it may be ON! Our boat was excited at our catch, they had been slow and we broke the streak!

Have never fished at the ramp in pompano, but when we showed up the parking was ample and the ramp was uncrowded, a quick 5 minute trip and you are in the ocean.
My only complaint was a lack of a fish cleaning stand, but CPT took care of that in his boat.
No different for the customer, but odd for a big boat ramp to not have one, do better city of pompano

Tyler said that June is the best season for fishing, and he did not disappoint. We really enjoyed the sunset tour and finishing the day by heading over the the Fish Shack to have them cook up our fish and to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Definitely go on a boat for at least a half day trip (The Naughty Girl with Captain Kenney and Joey is amazing) and plan to go to the Family Fishing Pier and spend a day there. It's easy to rent gear at the shop right at the pier entrance and the fishing is excellent. We caught several different species and sizes and had a blast all day.

We were really hoping to catch a mahi but we caught a ton of bonitas which aren't a meat fish. Regardless, we caught so many fish we can't be upset!

Captain Scott was great. I took my grandson on his first offshore trip. He took care of him and made sure he was involved. Small snapper and grouper. One decent shark. A fun day.

We caught sailfish, trigger fish, rudder fish, red snapper, lizards fish, bonitas and even saw dolphins.
Caught probably 15 fish total in 3 hours.
