December is hit and miss for fish. Weather was in the 70’s and your in 200 feet of ocean less than 3 miles out to sea which means fishing a lot quicker and for bigger fish compared to up north. I recommend a bigger boat with a cabin if you experience sea sickness or it is raining. We had a great time.

I don’t know if it’s possible but if there is some way to get your money back after you’ve booked it through fishingbooker.com on the day of the trip because of high winds and rough seas do it. If not I say call it a loss and don’t go. It’s not worth trying to hold on to rail and fish at the same time.

I'm rating the "CATCHING", the "FISHING" was a GREAT time. We are one of the few unlucky anglers (coming up empty) but it was a great time, calm ocean and would do it again if we make it back to Pompano Beach. Maybe next time we'll do some catching but if not, believe the fishing will be worth it again.

I would go somewhere else. Tons of boats in the water, these waters are fished very hard and might be overfished. We didn’t get a single fish in the boat in 4 hours on our first charter. The second one we had planned was cancelled by the Captain due to 4-6 foot waves, that is a calm day on the water where we come from. Two days of charter fishing planned and we are going home without seeing a fish in the boat.

Great charter to fish with, kids had a great time. Very happy with the size, type, and quantity of fish we caught!! Exactly what I was looking for.
Captain was very knowledgeable and friendly had good conversations with him throughout the trip!
Thanks

The waters are very rough, you can’t even stand up straight to fish. You get sea sick very quickly and have to come back. It’s not for young children, it’s not for adults older than 50, it’s not a pleasure experience, as soon as we entered the sea we had to hold onto a boat cause otherwise we would fall and hurt ourselves.

Yes the Captain was very knowledgeable and nice.He worked non stop all day for us.Caught fish live baiting and trolling.Would highly recommend.

Be aware of your weather changes and make sure that you choose a company that is willing to work with you and allow you to make changes to your fishing trip if the weather gets rough.

Nels Hofert
Would have loved to cat ch more but the radios were quite so we might have been the only ones catching fish

Gabe Nanni
Watch the ocean conditions. Not their fault we couldn’t get out onto the big water.

Fishing can be hit or miss but there are monsters out there if you’re patient.

Eduardo Patton
don’t expect to catch anything. Always understand its up to wether the fish are biting or not.

Cole Krizanovic
Ask your captain for the best time and day. It worked out very well for us. The fish bite when the fish bite and no one will know better than the captain.

Fishing in November can be hit or miss, the wind and waves can be rough this time of year. Otherwise, really great spot for a wide variety of saltwater fish.

Albert Fordham
I would fish with bennys fishing crew they knew all there is to know about fishing and getting them to bite

Summer months get rough with pelagic fish dispersing and getting tougher to target, caught 15 Bonita and 3 cudas and a blackfin. Snapped off on Mahi
Very fun

It’s a great thing to do while on vacation but boy is it hot. Highly recommend the early morning trip due to high temps.

Keith Robertson
I think because we picked a full moon fishing was not as good as i hoped but we still caught 20 fish. Lot of fun on semi-rough seas.

The shelf on the Atlantic is not far. From boat to fishing 15 min and your in deep and shallow. You can fish for big and small fish without going miles out.

Greg Dzingle
This time of year is rough with fast changing weather and lots of game fish cruising thru to going to the gulf to breed. It is very hit or miss this time of year to target specific things.

Heidi Giltz
Listen to your captain and crew. They are there to help you get the most out of your fishing experience. Waves are big. Put sunscreen on before you board. Bring snacks. Have fun!

Moritzl Heintze
Ask the captain for the right clothing. I expected sunny, hot weather, but I forgot a rain jacket for the cold morning breeze. The captain prepares everything else.

Shawn Sooley
Give Doug a call! He will take care of you 100%. He's one of the real ones, he's down to business, he's there to fish and make sure you have the best day possible!

Darryl Matvichuk
Definitely use killing time charters they are excellent captain and crew first class very knowledgeable

Ralph Smith
It is chilly some morning so come prepared! Be aware of local parking laws before arriving in the dark to fish.

Mike Cutaiar
Weather was good for November but will probably do this again in the spring /summer when the ocean is a little calmer.

Jeff Neuhofer
Go out and get your lines wet with Capt. Anthony. Great captain and knowledgeable fisherman and knows where to look for the fish. Highly recommended!

You will catch a few of the Bonitos which are a great fight but are inedible to most. Just be patient, something nice will come along soon.

Salvatore Decola
Very hot heat wave in the south. Timing was not optimal for best odds for catching and the fish knew it.

Call Capt Ron of South Florida Boat Charter. We had such an amazing experience with them and will fish again.
