Fresh Benton Harbor Fishing Reports

Started fishing with 6 rods and couldn’t keep them im the water. Two and some times three fish on at a time.

The fishing in June has been the best in years. We are still catching salmon and lake trout in **hidden content**’of water. Soon the kings will start staging and I will be there to catch them.

The king salmon are starting to arrive and bigger numbers. Had a great weekend with an 18 pounder and several Coho this weekend. Book a trip soon before they’re gone.

What a wonderful Easter weekend. We are fishing just a half mile or so off shore. Coho salmon,Brown trout and lake Trout was caught on Saturday morning. Had a big king on also.

Saturday morning started out cold and furious. 12 coho just south of the pier heads. Then the rain moved in and shut them off. Sunday morning was really tuff the fish were there but not feeding. We reeled in took a run south a about 10 miles and then it got fun. Set the first rod and before I could set another we had a fish on. Rest the rod and another rod then tried a another when the first rod started singing the king song. 50’ away from the boat he jump out of the water tjen took off. We landed our first king of the year and twelve more coho.

The Coho’s are starting and the fishing for them is fast and furious. We like to call them the primrib of Lake Michigan. We fishing from 1 till 4 and came in with 5 nice coho and 1 brown trout.
