We are still out on the water and plan on fishing into November. The fishing has been great as the photos in this report will show. Morning or evening fishing has been great and I have no preference. Book a trip with your family/friends and enjoy these fall colors from the water ?

The fishing is great right now at any time of day. Limited out in less than 3 hours on two mid-day trips (12-4) in the past week! The kids are having a blast as the fishing is steady. Come on out!

Hard Fighting Fish

Come join us in Charlevoix to catch the hard fighting fast action Cisco. The Cisco resembles the lake Whitefish, but it's actually in the Salmonoid family.

Pure Angling – Lake Trout, Salmon (Troll/Jig)

Late in the season for trout and salmon but the Cisco was fun to catch. Good mild fish, cleaning was a little tricky with all the small bones. Lots of small lakes but not a ton of public access or good shore fishing.

For evening fishing, Even if the waters seem a little choppy give it a shot! We still caught a lot of fish and it settled down as the evening went on.

Layer your clothing, take a small cooler of drinks/ snacks and wear comfortable non slip shoes (no flip flops). Have patience! :)

Bring a jacket, it's still cool on the water in Michigan in mid-June. Catch limit on lake trout is two per person, so don't keep unless they're of decent size.
