Make sure to get address of where you will meet in the morning. Google originally advised us to get a hotel on the riverwalk, which was farther away from the actual dock. The Super 8 was most convenient.

If child isn’t old enough to reel in a large fish, don’t bring them. They’ll be bored, you’ll be annoyed and captain will be frustrated. Not fair to anyone.

Dress warm for may trips. get you arms in shape because gabe will get you plenty of tough fish to reel in. try pier 32 diner, The Pink Lady to eat and loved staying at mannistee inn nearby. Have a big cooler or 2 to bring home your catch.
