Captain Big Fish
We had no prior experience and we had no idea what to expect. We showed up and the captain made us feel at ease immediately. We were a group of one adult and four teenagers, but never felt like it was not a safe situation. They were patient, gave great directions, and everyone had a great time! Boat was clean, easy to move about on, and very comfortable! Place that we launched from was easy to find and park at as well.

This is a great trip especially for beginners or those who are not into baiting and holding the rod. Ger did all the work, just had to reel it in.

It’s called fishing for a reason, not catching! Beautiful days don’t always mean plenty of fish. Enjoy the view, respect the ocean, have fun while doing so! This time of year brings in plenty to catch, especially for the younger crowds.

We can’t say enough good things about our time fishing in Wrightsville Beach! We had a blast spending the afternoon on the water catching Spanish Mackerel and several other fish! Captain “Big Fish” Monty and 1st Mate Kyle Fox were absolutely awesome and we can’t wait to come back and do it again!!!! Highly Recommended!!!!

We can’t say enough good things about our time fishing in Wrightsville Beach! We had a blast spending the afternoon on the water catching Spanish Mackerel and several other fish! We didn’t find the reds today, but had too much fun with the mackerel, blues, and false albacore. Nice views of the marsh, Masonboro Island, Wrightsville Beach, porpoise pods, birds…. Lovely time. Excellent captain!
