Fresh Platter Fishing Reports

As the lake continues to come down and water temperatures rise due to the summer heat the fish have gone into their summer patterns. With this Louie’s Lures Guide Service has been right with them. We never left the lake for greener pastures during the flooding and by doing that we’re having a great time putting our customers on the bigger fish. June and July have always been our big fish mouths we lost part of June due to water levels but it’s right where it needs to be now come join the action. Last few days have been hot. The Stripers have went into the summer pattern but we can still catch them. Numbers might be less but the sizes are good. The last two trips have produced good size fish.

It has been awhile since I have put a report out. We have been so busy fishing have not really taken the time but I will try and get better at it. Every one is saying Lake Texoma Fishing is not very good, with the flooding of the lake. We here at Louie's Lures Guide Service Lake Texoma never stopped fishing. some Trips where better than others but we always put fish in the boat. Now that the water levels are coming down the fishing is indeed getting better and we know where they are. Here are some pictures of out last trips.

We started out trying to stay out of the wind but the only thing hiding from it with us was smaller fish. So after moving 4 times we found the bigger fish.

It started out kind of chilly but it did warm up. The fishing is hot and only going to get hotter. The bet on the boat was first, biggest, and most like always. Well I told the Guys she was going to out fish them. It took her a bit and she didn't catch the first one but when she figured it out she caught the most and biggest. Dead Sticking is heating up water Temperatures are starting to get in the 50's so come join us on the water. It never stays cold for very long and we have beautiful days on the water. We had some good trips and fun times this past week. Had a rain delayed trip that turned into a catch fest. 4 person limit in an hour and fifteen minutes. And father and family with the 11 year old smoking the fish on her first Striped Bass fishing trip. And a catch and release trip that we only kept the ones that swallowed the hook that ended up in my freezer this time. Fishing can’t get much better than it is right now but it will.
