As an expierenced deckhand I have very high standards. Just a friendly reminder that catching a fish is not guaranteed. There are a lot of variables that needed to be taken into consideration, way too many to list here, but I truly believe that this crew will do everything they can, within legal means, to help you put a fish .on the deck. Treat them with kindness in all ways. It will go a long way.

Avoid Quest Carters, notorious for canceling trips day before or day of. Also, while I was attempting to enjoy my fishing trip with another charter kept messaging me back, trying to justify his decision to cancel our trip. All the other boats in the fleet that we took went offshore and we’re having no problems. I think more effort out of this captain could’ve been made.

If you can, try to add a day or two to your trip if you aren't close by in case weather/wind is an issue, that way they can try to book another day while you are down there.

Oilfield Outkasts – Standby
This was such a great experience as a family and we will definitely go again. I got sea sick, but I stuck it out and it was worth it! Just take sun block and take your Dramamine if you’re even slightly worried about getting sick! lol

Definitely worth the money if you want to catch fish. 5 hours was plenty for 6 of us and we all maxed out on catches within 2 hours. Then it was catch and release. So fun
