Fresh Pottsboro Fishing Reports

With fall fast approaching so is the top water bite. Within minutes of reaching out first spot everyone on the boat landed a fish over 20inches at the same time on topwater! This bite went on for 20 minutes until the sun reached the top of the trees then it was over. And remember weekday topwater trips are always the best since there is less boat traffic on the lake. and the bite last until the sun peaks over the tree line.

Hot Days and Night still here, but seems fish have hung on long as they can! I fished today , a trip alone so I could keep on top things! I have two boats now, and got another guide for it also. Its little smaller so I just fish 2 out if it! Maybe 3 at most. The fish today were on, in 40 foot water! They were bigger fish so I had couple break offs even with 25 pound test line. It will only get better so time to book that next trip! Leaving early at 6am to beat the heat! Fish biting fast once you get on them! Alligator Gar run fish off this morning so I had move! With this slight temp drop, time to book for fall.
