I had previous customers Mike and Buffy out on a absolutely beautiful day for an awesome SmackDown on some nice Lake Fork crappie!! All fish were caught with our 10-ft ACC crappie stix and slabs tackle shad style jigs on standing timber and brush piles in 13 to 19 ft of water

The post spawn is underway and the fish are stacking up on brush piles lay downs and standing timbers and we are absolutely annihilating them!!! If you would like to catch lots of crappie and have one of your best fishing days ever give us a shout!!!???

Welsh is a power plant lake so water is warm for this time of year, 70’s degrees. Trying to keep my boat in 9ft-12ft of water, main lake. Most fish come off drop shot. Wacky rig and weightless flukes caught fish much easier to fish in all the grass. Punching with 3/4oz-1oz tungsten weight can catch bigger fish. I run mostly lews rod and reels with sufix line and vmc hooks.
