Went out and tried to find some good eats well this fish had lock jaw but the ones we managed to catch were ready to eat. Thought we found a big school of redfish but ended up being jack cravalles still a fun fight but not worth eating. We changed gears and and went sight fishing for sheepshead till a thunderstorm pushed us away. Overall good day for a slow start.

Started of the day with chasing birds with trout underneath to bullreds chasing bait along the grass. After the sun was up we changed gears and ran out to the jetties to see how much fun we could get into. Everything was caught on Deadly Dudley plastics and live shrimp with 4 horsemen popping corks. Overall great day!

Took out Mr Donnie and his wife and they wanted redfish! So we made a long run to the jetties to target redfish and sheepshead. Everything was caught on live shrimp. We caught till our arms were sore.

if its windy and cold and the lake is dirty dont go. if its just cold and water is clear go get on some speckled trout, its a blast. flownder are running in november and the redfishing is usually always good. its a big lake and alot of water to cover so i would get a map of the area or fish with someone that knows the area well.

Bring clothes you can layer if it gets colder or hotter and bring a big cooler if you plan to take home your catch. Lake Charles was great and everyone was so nice and congenial.
