Go offshore for Tuna if possible. Cocodrie on average is only 6’ deep inshore. We had more luck using lures inshore than fishing with live shrimp.

You will catch many fish but some won't be legal so don't be sad when they have to be thrown back. Enjoy the sport! You WILL get some legal fish. A good guide won't let you keep illegal fish. It's the law and it is not worth the fine!

We only targeted sea trout, so I can’t speak to redfish,but captain Lorrie put us on trout right away,and we were able to catch our 15 fish limits.He was very good at untangling lines caused by inexperienced fishermen and never complained.I would certainly recommend him to
