Booking with Captain Wayne in Dennis was great. He and his first mate were very friendly and gave us easy to understand directions to catch fish. And we did – lots of great striped bass in the boat! Great location – and great opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy the Cape!

Bring snacks, sunscreen & sunglasses and maybe do some arm workouts beforehand. The fish don't mess around and are sometimes tough to reel in if they want to put up a good fight, which they usually do.

Better off going when the strippers are rolling and top water if you can plan it. It is more fun fishing. If they are on the bottom, the jigging is a lot more work and not as active.

Take the advice from the Captain...fish for what's around and biting. We were hoping to maybe get into some blues on topwater - but they just weren't around in numbers - so we stuck with trolling and jigging stripers until our arms were sore. Great day. Bring lots of water and sunscreen.

We caught many keepers as well as some >36” monsters- had to throw back, but a fun challenge reeling it in

Ocean can be a little rough in the morning. When sun comes out sea gets calmer. If you get sick take motion sickness medicine as early as you can to get in your system. Listen to your captain he is very knowledgeable and tries hard to help you catch fish.
