Try to book with Capt. Eric Newhouse if you can. Not saying other charter captains are worse, but this was my only experience with charter boat fishing..and it was excellent. Used to do drift boat fishing in the past...but if you are looking for a good chance to land a fish, charter is the way to go and if you get a small group, the cost is worth it.

Capt Bob and Jared were terrific. I caught an amazing striper...made my day! My 15yr old son was with me too, he had a blast! Fishing cape cod bay is a beautiful spot. Lots to do in town of Dennis (beautiful beaches too) before or after the charter...spend the whole day in that part of the cape!

Although the weather beat us up quite a bit the fishing was worth it! Captain John was very professional and knowledgeable. He put our safety and comfort as priority. The Kate Jim was patient as well as knowledgeable for this first time striper angler. I had a ball fishing with these guys! You will too if you book with the Grey Dolphin Sportsfishing Charter. The marina was easily located and there was ample parking.

Definite quantities of sea bass and blue fish... Striped bass season is slow in June, best in the spring months of April and May.
