If you have never been fishing for Paddlefish before I would highly recommend going with a guide. I tried fishing for them many times before with no luck on my own which was very frustrating. Today we tagged out within a few hours with Dustin from Last Cast Guide Service.

Guide was very nice, he put us on some rainbow trout, well..let me rephrase, he put my wife on alot of rainbow trout...lol.
I caught some as well but she was killing it. We had a good time.

Branson is a Great fishing destination due to the large variety of species and access to both beautiful Table Rock lake and the 50 degree water of Taneycomo. If you are planning your trip in the summertime heat, hit Table Rock in the cooler morning or evening and fish the cold water of Taneycomo in the heat of the day and take advantage of cooling of with the cold water

But when you’re spending time on the water with your family fishing and laughing and making memories it’s not always about how many and how big of fish you catch.
