A good guide makes all the difference. And Jordan is top-notch. Never a bad day in Grand Traverse Bay, but catching big, beautiful, tasty fish is next level! Loved every minute of it. And Jordan made it look easy (even though we know itโs not)!

Far from an expert but from what I've seen the two times I been out this year, water temps are key. There's a spring hit and a summer hit. Summer hit is going to kick in soon, we were on the start of it today possibly from the full box of fish we caught. Actually missed two but all good

Captain Shane shared with us that there is a place called Castaway nearby that you can take your fresh catch to (the Charter has to stamp the bag) and they'll cook it for you! We went and it was delish! Awesome experience all around!

Everything is explained to you right from the start. The only thing that was a negative was I would recommend bug spray. The black flies were biting my ankles. Other than that; it was a great trip!

In June when the average day temp is in the 80's the mornings can be cooler. And once you get on the water the wind temperature is much cooler. It was mid 60's but the wind had a chill. Bring a hoodie just in case
