Michelle surprised her Dad, Robert, with a multi species trip for his birthday. Not knowing what to expect, Robert adjusted very quickly. Michelle fine tuned her approach and both started catching fish after fish! We experimented with walleye to start and promptly put 9 keepers in the livewell! We then made a couple drifts for bass but they weren’t cooperating. The drum, however, obliged both anglers offering up the incredible fight they’re known for. In the process, Robert caught the biggest fish of his life landing a channel catfish that was pushing 14 lbs! The bond between these two was joyful to witness. The boat was full of laughter and love. Another successful day on the water!

Andy and his son Andrew were in town for a wedding and wanted to try Lake Erie. They were open to catch whatever species that were biting. We formulated a plan at the dock: try for walleye then move in to target smallmouth bass. Well, the plan was very successful! They caugh their first walleyes ever, hooking 4 of them in the first hour. Then moving in to fish smallmouth, they again showed off their skills by boating several very nice fish, mixing in several giant drum as well. Ended up being another great day on the water. Great father / son combo making what I do special!

Very cute young couple came onboard today. Jenna’s experience was limited to smaller fish (bluegills and perch) and her friend Carlos, from Los Angeles CA, had NEVER caught a fish! Well, things changed dramatically today! Jenna mansged to catch one of the biggest fish ever taken on my boat, an 18 lb channel catfish- also her biggest EVER! She also added in several giant drum. Carlos caught many large fish today in multiple species and really handled the hard fights well, especially for his first time! Just another couple friends made! Great day for sure!
