Fresh Indian River Fishing Reports

These last couple weeks these tunas have been hungry, they have been everywhere and man do they make some good dinner. Yesterday 4/16 we caught some butterballs, big fat tunas making the client very happy. The muttons have also been enjoyable to catch with 4 muttons 30 inches or more in the last two weeks.

Seas and wind were heavy. The bite was hard, but managed to catch a few dinners. Water temp was 71.

Had to move a few times but finally found some fish to cooperate including this nice 17 inch keeper flounder. Also boated a decent mutton snapper but was under keeper size.

The weather was amazing, but the ocean was angry, water temp was 70. Bite was hard but was able to get our customers dinner and a great day outdoors.

Seas 3-4 and they did awesome. Water temp 72 Managed to get some good fish.

Spanish mackerel and blue fish trolling has been very good nice size Spanish mackerel and some 10 to 12 lb blue fish mixed in mostly trolling with some casting to the blues and jigging season's about over for them getting ready to head back up north for the summer months usually catch the bigger fish this time of year right before the end get in on the last chance for the year to catch these great tasting Spanish mackerel. And hard fighting bluefish. Thought we'd throw in a picture of our pelican buddy George.
