Snook Time in Stuart

Fished this morning with Fred Hepper from Bernardsville, N.J and Mark Johnson from Vero Beach again on our first snook trip of the season. These guys fished with me a few weeks ago catching 3 nice tripletail. Today while livebaiting with greenies they went 3 for 3 on snook keeping one in the 28-32 " slot.

We have had some nice variety of larger sharks this past week. Hammerheads, Bull’s and lots of large sandbar sharks. The goliath groupers have been easy targets on the wrecks in 80 to 120ft of water.

As we head into springtime, the tripletail bite along the Treasure Coast picks up nicely. In the past month we have caught some decent size tripletail on our half and 3/4 day trips. This bite only gets better as we head into the summer months.
