The weather was overcast and perfect for catching a musky. Our group was 4 adults and an 11 & 1/2 year old boy who caught his first musky. He is now officially a muskymaniac!

Everything is explained to you right from the start. The only thing that was a negative was I would recommend bug spray. The black flies were biting my ankles. Other than that; it was a great trip!

Double D Fishing Charters – Au gres
Captain Shane shared with us that there is a place called Castaway nearby that you can take your fresh catch to (the Charter has to stamp the bag) and they'll cook it for you! We went and it was delish! Awesome experience all around!

In June when the average day temp is in the 80's the mornings can be cooler. And once you get on the water the wind temperature is much cooler. It was mid 60's but the wind had a chill. Bring a hoodie just in case
