Captain Shane shared with us that there is a place called Castaway nearby that you can take your fresh catch to (the Charter has to stamp the bag) and they'll cook it for you! We went and it was delish! Awesome experience all around!

In June when the average day temp is in the 80's the mornings can be cooler. And once you get on the water the wind temperature is much cooler. It was mid 60's but the wind had a chill. Bring a hoodie just in case

I wish there was a better way to screen guide services. We read reviews but not sure what to believe. In our case we selected Deitrichโs, which was fantastic, but it was a stab in the dark.
A guide service is made by the quality of the guideโฆitโs always about people not the boat. Shane made the day for us.
