Daydreamer Fishing Charters
We actually changed and went out of Kenosha, WI. and I’m glad we did. We stayed a night in Kenosha and the food was great (not expensive) we stayed at The Stella 5 minutes from the docks and the rooms were really nice. It was my first time out Kenosha and I’m glad we changed marinas because the fish were biting better in that part of the water than near Winthrop Harbor or so said the reports.

As Shawn described it, spring is faster action but fall brings bigger fish and more variety of species. We found that to be true.

Breezy 1 Sportfishing
Salmon have not yet started their run, but I caught one anyway due to Brad’s expertise. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He knows the Manistee, where the fish are, where the snags are, was so nice to fish with for my daughter and me. Best guide I’ve ever had on a Michigan river, and I’ve been coming up here for years.

Our Port Washington Charter with Robert out of Fish N Hunt was great. Captain boarded immediately and we were catching fish from start to finish. Great experience and will look at making this an annual event with Robert out of Port Washington.

We booked knowing they hadn't been biting much in a few days and that it was not an ideal time of day, but was what worked for our group. We could have easily tripled our catch by waiting a few days and doubled it by going early in the morning. Captain Steve taught us a lot, and we will be more experienced anglers next year.

There are several little restaurants around the harbor so if you do the half day trip plan to have a lunch or breakfast afterward. Also be sure that you bring a cooler to store the fish when the trip is completed if you plan to stay around town for a bit. Also some nice outdoor shops to walk through.

Be ok with the water being a Lil bit choppy. Lake Michigan cant get a Lil wavy but so being able to adjust and get used to the boat moving around while your trying to real in fish.

Casting For Christ
My first time in Traverse City, and I was only there for one night. Beautiful town, lots to see besides going fishing. Hotels are expensive, so be prepared to pay more than you expect. Totally worth it though if you book with J. Young Outdoors for your fishing trip. Jordan's the best!
