He will do everything he can to help. I would do it all again just as soon as my arm rests up from reeling in 2 big ones.

- In bringing snacks, stay away from anything banana related; it’s seen as bad luck!
- Wear layers as the day can start cool, then get warm.
- If you’ve not done salmon fishing, listen to the captain’s instructions! They want you to be great at this! :)
- Remember to soak it all in. Catching the fish is great! But so is being on Lake Michigan seeing a sunrise (or sunset), being with friends and/or family in the adventure, and just enjoying the time.

Breezy 1 Sportfishing
The Captain recommended we go out an hour later to catch more fish in the dark, and he was certainly right about that. Once the sun went down, the fish started biting. And we got to see the most beautiful sunset on the boat, which I will never forget.

I noted that this trip was not appropriate for children only because the waters ended up being rougher than predicted. We fish a lot and were fine with the waves, but young ones would have been tossed about a lot. That is NOT on the captain or his boat.
