Fresh Point Judith Fishing Reports

We fished around the Island. The fish were close in. Even though I see this place nearly daily the beauty of this place never fades.

Had a good day of bass and bluefishing today. Great weather. Fished around Block Island. Everyone had a blast.

Great trip out for bass & blues with many keeper sized fish boated and taken home. The bite was strong for an afternoon trip.

Amy DiGiamo wirkingvthe skinny water for some monster bluefish and bass. All action took place in 3 feet of water on topwater plugs and gurglers. If haven’t lived until you work the flats for oceanic blues.

The incoming tide had the striped bass and bluefish up on the Ledge yesterday. The fish were eating tiny sand eels and at first were fairly hard to fool. But then the afternoon sun dipped lower in the sky and that triggered the fish to bite. The boys had sore arms after an hour of red hot action.

Big Fluke are starting to show up. With each trip, we have been seeing the size increase, with today having mostly large and jumbo sized fish! Sea Bass has also been good and we expect it to just keep getting better as warmer weather comes around. A good showing of short fish which provides steady action.
