Fresh St. George Island Fishing Reports

We could see shore the entire time today! We had our limit pf red snapper in 40 minutes and the worked on the magroves and mahi which didnt get photographed because they were burried in the bottom of the cooler.

Weather was B E A utiful. Temperature was comfortable and the bite was on early. Great day on the Gulf of Mexico aboard the C-ScouT.

My Tenesee crew had an amazing time and enjoyed some really great weather. The bite was a little off but we took advantage pf the bites we got and made a decent box of fish! With warmer weather coming the bite should improve drastically in the next few weeks!

The past few weeks have produced record amounts of cobia and tripletail along with great gigging opportunities for flounder, sheepshead, drum, and mullet. In the coming weeks, tripletail( the best tasting inshore fish) will dominate the fish box along with cobia, mangrove snapper, kingfish, redfish, and trout.

The water clarity has improved tremendously and the gigging opportunities have increased. Calm nights and clear water have made my clients very happy and my job fairly easy! Fish boxes have been overflowing with quality eating fish alpng with some rough fish that I use to baut my pinfish and crab traps.

Had a great charter with Cory and his friends. They were visiting our area from Maryland. We caught 8 Redfish, countless trout and whiting also.
