Yes. This was my first time on a private boat and it was perfect. Captain Chip is very good at teaching beginners. Water was unseasonally cold due to a major cold front, however Captain Chip assured we caught fish.

My only recommendation for other visitors would be leave a two-day window, so should the weather change unexpectedly, you still have a fallback opportunity to truly enj a memorable experience.

If it for the kids let him know ahead of time. Capt Eric is a pro at game fish so if that’s what you want try to fish longer that 3 hours so you can hit several spots. We didn’t care and said put us on something and we caught tons of stuff and a unique variety as well
