Trip Summary

Bucktails are doing the bulk majority of the heavy lifting so far this musky season. Although we've had weather front after weather front here, fish continue to chase bucktails. The weather looked amazing this morning with a low pressure system coming in, muskies were in a chasing mood but didn't want to commit.

The many low pressure weather systems recently, continue to get the fish active! Another nice one fell for a bucktail again. One spot in particular has been holding MANY fish this year. This spot has been ON FIRE this season, and it's only going to get better as we get into the late summer patterns of August and into September, so don't wait, book your trip now!

It was a big fish kind of morning. 10 minutes into the morning, this big Minneapolis musky ate a bucktail. Later in the morning an even bigger one tried to eat at boatside, but it only got nip hooked and came off on the first headshake.
