Yesterday morning, Gary booked a charter trip aboard Fishin Da Net wanting to learn more about how we fish for salmon on Lake Michigan here in Port Washington. He recently moved to the area from Washington state. He has lots of experience fishing salmon in the Pacific northwest but realized our fishing techniques here for salmon are quite different. Thus, he booked a charter to learn about the quirks we have here in Wisconsin. First mate Todd and I explained everything we did and the rationale behind our choices to coax the salmon to bite our lures. Gary said he enjoyed the trip and learned much while reeling in his limit of 4 king salmon and 1 coho salmon to Da Net!
