Big Striped bass are settling into their summer haunts. I had a small group out last night on the 4 hour night trip. The fishing was great, the bite really turned on as soon as it got dark and we started marking alot of fish in shallow water. Top 3 fish of the night were 36”, 38” and 42” all on artificial 13” eels.

Good mixed size of striped bass in shallow water. Most of the time it seems striped bass travel with other’s around the same size. Tonight was a little different. The first 2 fish this family hooked into were slot size 30” bass. After a couple more around similar size, the youngest daughter hooked into a healthy 44” cow!
