What can I say. Captain Brian was awesome. Nice 4 hour trip. We caught our limit. Everyone hooked something. Had to release some of our catches due to size and hitting the limit. Plus no need to keep fish we won't be able to eat. All around great day, boat ride, fishing, all of it

We had an incredibly calm ocean and temp in the low 80's. There had just been some storms and fog before we got there and extreme heat when we left. June might be a month with variable weather.

check out the local tackle ahops on the cape. lots of friendly staff that are happy to help. the cape has very few fishing piers. a charter is an excellent option.

Make sure you bring a medium or large cooler to put fish meat in to bring home, and wear closed-toe shoes. Listen closely to the captain's instructions to make sure everyone is acting safely and has the best chance to catch lots of fish!

The only thing I might point out is that the keeper restriction is 27-31 inches. I hadn't fished for several years and was accustomed to the keeper limits being anything over 27 -32 (usually). So when we brought the first 40 incher in the boat I was expecting some fillets. My mistake.
