Trip Summary

We were out for a 5hrs half day trip. We went far out searching for a feeding area. At about 10 nautical miles from shore we saw a school of skipjacks. Unfortunately the fish was not staying long enough at the surface for us to be able to catch them. We then moved in the direction of a FAD . On the way we saw a school of doradoes. On approaching the school we saw a dorado jumping on the shot gun lure. After a good fight the big bull was in.

We started at 6a.m ...while putting the 3rd lure out.bang...we had a strike on the short rigger lure. After a good fight a 44 pounds wahoo was in. We continued to deeper water we went through a school of skipjacks few times no bite...had a strike on the long rigger but the hook did not get the fish on the way back we caught a 23 pounds wahoo on the short corner lure.

We went out for a 5hrs morning trip. We went through 3 ro 4 big schools of skipjacks. Far out we met a school of doradoes. We caught 3 nice ones after having a good fight. The young boy flighted a big bull on the fighting chair. It was on a 50 pounds rod
