Trip Summary

We started at 6a.m. not long after being out we caught a wahoo. Later skipjacks that we used as live bait. After some trolling with live bait we had 2 attacks. One by a shark the other by a wahoo . Both took just a piece of the bait. Later on we tried back with artificial lures but no bite. We came back to the lagoon with a good size wahoo for dinner.

We were out for a morning trip. Not far out we saw some birds diving in an area. We changed technique and were able to catch a good size tuna. Had a marlin which bite a bonito which we were fighting it on 50 pounds reel.

We started at 1p.m and went directly to the tuna spot. On the way we caught a barracuda. We changed the lures for smaller once and not long after the tuna was on for a good fight on the 50 pounds reel.

We started few minutes after noon. We were soon on the fishing area. The fishes were not so active yet. Then gradually the tuna came to the surface and started bitting. We hooked about 4...5. Having some good fight on the 50pounds reels. We were back with 3 nice yellowfins 65 pounds and 2 of 20 pounds as well as a 13 pounds skipjack.
