Low tide redfish
March 08, 2026 Jacksonville 2 photos

Trip Summary

Great day on the water with zackery and his son. Went out at low tide, slack water. Running too our first spot we saw waking redfish on a bank. Had a couple good opprotunities but couldnt land them. If you fish in the ICW or creeks in jacksonville on a low tide and no wind, be prepared for the nats. Once the wind picked up the nats left us alone. Once the tide started coming in we started catching fish. We went out with mud minnows and live shrimp, and the live shrimp produced better for us. Moving around is the name of the game. Hit them at one spot for a little while, and then on to the next. Dont be aftaid to move around, sometimes thats what it takes.
