Trip Summary
The morning catfish bite is absolutely wide‑open right now. Blues are stacked up and feeding hard at first light, and the action has been steady from the moment the anchors hit bottom. If you want fast rod bends and a cooler filling quick, the morning pattern is the move.
By the afternoon, the striper pattern is cranking up strong. They’re pushing bait, getting more aggressive by the day, and we’re seeing solid fish when that window opens. It’s a great time to chase a mixed‑bag day on Lake Buchanan.
Spring patterns are shifting fast — grab a date while the bite is hot.
