Trip Summary
We headed out this spring morning around early morning with partly cloudy skies and rain throughout the day. The crew was ready to get lines in the water for our 5 Hour Bay Fishing Trip. Today We Fish Charter and Adventures had us set up for a solid day on the bay.
We focused on drift fishing techniques to target the redfish and speckled trout that call these waters home. The crew managed to land some nice redfish along with speckled trout using our soft plastic setup. These bay waters are perfect for this kind of fishing because the structure and current create ideal holding spots for both species. We wrapped up the trip with great catches and smiles all around.
The rain didn't slow us down one bit, and we made the most of every cast. Bottom fishing proved productive in the deeper pockets while drift fishing let us cover more water when the fish were scattered. Both redfish and speckled trout were cooperative despite the weather conditions.
If you're looking to get out on the water for some quality bay fishing, Today We Fish Charter and Adventures has you covered with our 5 Hour Bay Fishing Trip. We know these waters inside and out, and our techniques for targeting redfish and speckled trout have been proven time and again. Whether you want to try bottom fishing in the deeper holes or drift fishing over the flats, we'll put you on fish. Our morning trips start early to maximize your time on the water, and we provide everything you need for a successful day. The bay fishing here offers consistent action for both redfish and speckled trout year-round. Book your trip with us and experience what makes this area so special for anglers.
