Trip Summary
This week has been another strong one on the water here around Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, and Ingleside, Texas. I still have a few open dates available for upcoming fishing charters, so if you’ve been thinking about getting out on the water, now is a great time to book a trip.
Speckled trout continue to be on fire, with the spawn happening on most days. I’ve been finding trout stacked up along grass lines, drop-offs, and deeper pockets near the flats. Early mornings have been especially productive, but we’re also getting a solid afternoon bite depending on tides and wind.
Popping corks with shrimp lures have been the most consistent setup this week. It’s been a simple and effective way to keep rods bent and clients catching fish all trip long. This technique has been producing steady action and aggressive strikes, making it perfect for both experienced anglers and families with kids.
Redfish have been just as reliable this week. I’ve been seeing good numbers cruising the grass flats and staging along shorelines, with fish eating both shrimp lures under corks and natural bait. These fish have been aggressive and giving anglers a great fight, and we’re regularly mixing redfish in while targeting trout.
If you’re looking to fish the Texas Coastal Bend, this is about as good as it gets right now. Between the strong speckled trout bite and consistent redfish action, there’s plenty of opportunity for a fun and productive trip.
I run Clean Fun Fishing, offering private, family-friendly fishing charters in Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, and Ingleside. I provide all rods, reels, bait, and tackle—just show up ready to fish and have a great time.
Open dates are available, but they’re filling quickly. If you’re searching for an Aransas Pass fishing charter or a Port Aransas fishing guide, book your trip now and come get in on this hot bite.
