Trip Summary

When you go huntin’ or fishin’ you don’t always get what you want. But if you try sometimes you get what you need. I think i heard that before. We went looking for a blue but we got 3 nice ono instead and a full belly for a few days. It was a beautiful afternoon 4 hour trip with new friends from North Carolina and we didn’t get skunked! A beautiful morning trip. Great weather, lite winds, calm seas and sunshine made for a great fishing trip with a wonderful group. Found a nice striped marlin that fell for a live opelu and a fun fight on the small gear.

The nairagi, striped marlin are plentiful right now and a few blues like a 160lb one we released today. Ended up with 2 nairagis, released the blue then ran into some mahi. Wevgit a big bull weighing 38lbs and his lady friend about 18lbs. All in all an action packed day with our bew friends from Mississippi. Book now summer fishing is here and filling fast!
