MAHI WERE STACKED UP OFF BISCAYNE

Trip Summary

One of those mornings where everything came together offshore. Clean blue water pushed in tight, weed lines were holding bait, and the mahi were exactly where they were supposed to be. Conditions stayed calm enough to cover a lot of ground and stay on active fish throughout the trip. The mahi bite was steady all morning with multiple fish coming over the rail and plenty of action for the crew. Every productive patch seemed to have fish on it, and once we got them fired up, it turned into nonstop chaos around the boat. Bright colors, screaming drags, and fish flying everywhere — classic South Florida mahi fishing. We also saw some blackfin tuna mixed in offshore while working the current edges, adding even more life to an already solid day on the water. May is shaping up exactly how you want offshore out of Biscayne right now — blue water, weed lines loaded with bait, and mahi showing up in numbers.
