CLEAN WATER, HOT MAHI BITES

April 25, 2026 Key Biscayne 1 photo

Trip Summary

Another strong spring day offshore with classic South Florida conditions โ€” light winds early, clean blue water pushing in, and steady current lines holding bait along the edges. Everything lined up right from the start. The mahi bite was the main event. We found fish working scattered weed lines and floating debris, and once we got on active water it turned into consistent action. Multiple hookups, steady rod bends, and quality mahi coming over the rail kept the crew busy throughout the trip. Conditions stayed stable all day with good visibility and plenty of life offshore. Birds working, bait stacked, and that clean blue water that usually signals mahi are right where they should be. Solid day on the water with nonstop action and a nice pile of mahi to show for it. Spring fishing offshore continues to stay strong and very consistent right now.
