Trip Summary

This morning we ran a 6 person trip and the bite was awesome! We had a limit plus several fish released by 9:00 am. This has been the normal pattern for the last 2 weeks so its a great time to visit texoma. We have plenty of July dates avaliable.

Todays trip was supposed to go after stripers but we got side tracked. We decided to try some smallmouth bass fishing since the water temps were 61 degrees which is perfect! We caught and released 40+ smallmouth, spotted and largemouth bass in 3 hours. It doesnt get much better. This bite should last about another 3 maybe 4 weeks

Cold water equals hot bite! Water temps have dropped to low 50’s and the fish a feeding hard. The live bait and dead stick bite is going hard. This time of year you can expect bigger fish and good number. There will also be a few jumbo whitebass mixed in…it doesn’t get much better. Dont let the cooler weather keep you from enjoying a day of catching!
