Today I took a group from Laverne, Al on an 8 hour bottom fishing trip on a day where the weather had been forecast to be variable to terrible. Thank goodness it was variable light winds. The crew were all family and some had not had a "charter boat" experience and all had a great day. We didn't exactly crush the dock with big fish, but we did have some big smiles. We also caught a fairly rare species known as a "File" fish. He looks similar to a trigger fish but has skin like a shark.
