Today was just a fun day for me out of the water. I ran the jet boat today around Redfish bay looking for new spots that might hold some good fish. Typically I plan out my scouting trips and go hit up some spots I liked on the charts plus I try and fish some places that look interesting that I stumble upon. Sometimes the new spots work out and sometimes they don't but every now and then you find a real jewel. I had some great success in the trout department, the mangroves haven't quite arrived yet and the reds are pretty scattered still. Hopefully over the next week as the water heats up we'll be moving into Redfish mode!
