As you all know it’s been a very wet summer so far, Smallmouth Fishing has been hit and miss due to the high muddy water. But I will say every grey cloud has a silver lining, the catfish bite has been very good with big fish being caught. My last few catfish charters resulted in Fish over 10 pounds were caught. A 10 pound cat in the current gives you a whole new outlook on that Fish. They will bend a heavy action flipping rod in half more than any bass I know of. So if your looking for something a little different give it a try.
