We started out in Gulf port waiting for the tide to come up around the islands.We were using pilcards for bait on a 2/0 owner circle hook with 20# green mono leader and 15 lb braid.we were catching nice Mangrove Snapper and trout on the first stop.as the tide came up we moved to the islands around Ft Desota and fished the potholes with cut ladyfish and pilcards we stared catching some really nice Redfish and a few Jacks all in all it was a very productive day.we limited out on Resfish and kept a few snapper and a trout.So nows the time to book and get out there while the fishings on fire and bring home some nice fresh fish to eat today.
