Trip Summary
Well like I said in my last report we are getting to that time of the year when the bait starts to show up and the fish are not far behind. This week the fishing has been great. We are finding and catching bait everyday and the fish are waiting to eat it. The mutton snapper and mangrove snapper bite has really picked up inshore and we are having no problem catching our limit and filling the cooler. The yellow jacks are also starting to make there appearance and we have been catching some nice ones in the 6-10lb range. Not only do yellow jacks taste delicious but they are also one of the hardest fighting fish on the flats and are a blast to catch. We are also still catching plenty of barracudas and some grouper as well. If you love light tackle fishing then this is for you and this is the best time of the year to do it.
