Caught nice Dorado

We went out for a full day trip with a group of 11 pax on-board. We first headed out to the bay of black river for some dolphin watching. After an hour watching the dolphins performing acrobatics jumps and swimming near the boat we put the lures and started trolling. The weather was a bit windy. We passed a FAD and saw no fish around. So we decided to go to deeper waters to another FAD. We started making some circles around the FAD and raised a school of Dorado. One of them came 3 times on the lure found on the short corner, but unfortunately the hook did not get the fish. We pass a second time and hooked one Dorado on the 50 pound rod and caught it after some mins fight. We finished the day with a Dorado and a bonito.

We went out for a 3/4 day trip. We spotted few schools of bonito right after going outside the lagoon. The bonitos were difficult to catch. We caught one then no bite . So we decided to go to deeper waters in search of the fish. After few hours we saw few birds feeding went to the spot and saw like a old fishing net floating in the area. The fish was here. 4...to 5 fishes came on the lines and 2 of our reels started to sing. We slowed down the boat and the fight started. The first fish came near the boat quickly. It was a young yellowfin tuna. But the second one took much longer. It was a 62 pounds tuna. We informed other boats of the activity in this area. We changed technique to increase our chances of catching the tuna. Caught few and used a yft and a bonito as live bait. It was time to look for a marlin. But unfortunately that day no marlin came. We were back at the beach with a 62 pounds tuna, 2 bonitos and 3 small yft

We went out at 7a.m for a full day trip. After 1 hours out we met a school of bonito. Hook one but unfortunately it went away. Bonito was hard to catch on that day. We went from one school to another no luck till we met a school of skipjacks and caught 2. While trolling among the skipjacks we noted the presence of a blue marlin few meters behind the boat playing with the teaser and attacking it 3 times we pulled the teaser in and thrown a bait on the 80 pounds reel. The marlin took it. It jumped few times. The fight last 45 minutes and the fish was caught. We set the lines once more with the intention of catching more fish and were lucky to hook up a nice 22 pounds wahoo. We were back on the beach at 3p.m with a nice catch

We went out for a half day trip for the first time this season since march due to the covid. We leave the lagoon at 7.30... about 30 minutes out we found a school of bonito and hooked 3 at first time. Caught all of them. The fish dived so we shifted to another school of bonito...no success. While heading to the south we had a strike on the central rigger lure. After 30 minutes of fight the marlin was in. We put back the lures and continued fishing. We then caught some more bonitoes...fight against a 20 pounds yellowfin but lost it. At about 11 a.m we had another strike of marlin on the short corner lure, a blue marlin came from nowhere and attacked the lure twice. The reel started to scream.....we quickly managed to take the other lines in. The marlin made a run of 400 meters then the hook came off. On the way back we caught some more bonitoes and were back with a marlin and 8 bonitoes
