We went out for a half day fishing trip with the Demarest family. About 5-7 miles out we found the first school of bonito. We started catching some of them, 3 to 5 biting at the same time... caught some but lost some too... few minutes later there were around 3 to 4 large schools of bonito in the area. We were able to catch 12 bonito. On the way back we got a strike on the long rigger lure... We bring all the lines in. After 20 minutes of fight the tuna was behind the boat and continued the fight for 5 - 10 minutes just behind the boat...finally we were able to pull it out. We finish the day with 12 bonito and a 175 pounds yellowfin tuna.
